Classroom Rules

We are excited to have you join our virtual classroom experience! To ensure a positive and constructive learning environment, we have established some guidelines. These rules aim to promote respect, maximize the learning experience, and create an enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.

GUIDLINES FOR ONLINE CLASS PARTICIPATION 

Please browse the rules below before attending the virtual courses. 

Additionally: Please test your equipment and internet connection at least 15 minutes prior to the start of the class to avoid delays for others. Inability to set up when the class is in session may lead to excusal and rescheduling with a full refund. 

Classroom Conduct:

Treat the online class as you would a physical one. Please dress appropriately, stay present throughout the session, and give your undivided attention to the instructional content. Ensure the camera shows your entire face and surroundings. Failure to comply may result in a request to adjust the camera angle. Non-compliance may lead to expulsion, with a refund of your class fee.

Appropriate Attire:

Dress casually but bear in mind that you will be visible to others. Avoid clothing with provocative, political, obscene, or disrespectful content. The instructor reserves the right to address attire concerns.

Be Present:

Be present in the virtual classroom for the entire duration. If other commitments arise, reschedule for a day when you can fully engage in the class without interruptions.

Respectful Communication:

Maintain a respectful tone. Disparaging or insulting comments directed at participants or absent individuals will not be tolerated and may lead to expulsion, with a refund of your class fee.

Distraction Free Environment:

Refrain from phone calls, texting, gaming, or conversations with others during class. Any observed distractions will result in a warning; repeated offenses may lead to expulsion, with a refund.

No Meals On Screen:

Refrain from eating meals during the class. While beverages are allowed, eating on screen can be distracting and disrespectful. Use provided breaks / lunch breaks for meals.

Stationary Location:

Ensure you are in a stationary location. Avoid walking around or being constantly on the move. If this is challenging, consider rescheduling for a day when you can commit to being in one place.

Online Etiquette:

Remember that everyone in the session can see and hear you, along with your background. Act as you would in a physical classroom.
